Classic Commission Base Price

For Coloured (Complex) Art, the price is added on top of a Clean Sketch or a Line Art finishing.
Clean Sketch comes with the option of White Base/ Hard Shading/ Base Colour if Coloured (Complex) is not selected.
Line Art comes with the option of White Base/ Base Colour if Coloured (Complex) is not selected.*For Classic Commissions with more than 1 character in an artwork, the unit with the highest finishing is selected as the initial unit.

Personality Sheet Base Prices

For every commission order of $40 or above, the client will gain a stamp in Alceous' Loyalty Rewards.Stamps collected can be traded in for rewards, such as ACC (Alceous Commission Credits), emotes, icons, and more! I will keep track of the number of stamps that you have acquired! Feel free to ask me about your stamp collection status.What are Alceous' Commission Credits (ACC)?
Alceous' Commission Credits (ACC) is a virtual currency the client can use in Alceous' Art Commission Services as a substitute for real currency. 1 ACC = 1 USD

Terms and Conditions

- The only way to gain stamps in Alceous' Loyalty Rewards' system database is by spending $40 or above in a single order.
- Stamps collected can be traded for a reward in the reward list.
- Upon reward redemption, the stamps will be consumed.
- Alceous' Commission Credits (ACC) can be used as a substitute for United States Dollar (USD) in Alceous' Art Commission Services only.
- ACC does not contribute towards stamp collection in the Loyalty Rewards System.
- In cases where the client wishes to hit the $40 mark to gain a stamp in the Loyalty Rewards System, the client is allowed to tip the artist so that the order reaches the $40 mark.
- The artist reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions and the rewards of the Loyalty Rewards System at any time without prior notice. If any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on this website immediately. Please check the latest information posted herein to inform yourself of any changes.

Terms of Service

Payment:
- Prices negotiated are all in United States Dollars (USD).
- For commissions of $50 or below, the client must pay the full payment upfront.
- The Artist and the Client must acknowledge any payment decisions between the Artist and the client.
- The Client must pay at least 50% of the negotiated price upfront before the Artist starts working on the client's commission.
- The client must complete the order's payment when the Artist hits the halfway checkpoint of the commission for 50/50 settlements or the third quarter checkpoint for 50/25/25 prices.
- When the client chooses PayPal as their payment method, the client must select the "no address needed" option when prompted to fill in the client's address.
- The Artist will withhold the completed commission from the client if the Artist does not receive the full payment for the order.
- In the case of numbers lesser than one appearing in the pricing for payment methods going through the Ko-Fi website, the number will be rounded down if it is 0.5 or below and rounded up if it is 0.6 or above.Extra Fees:
- When the Client asks for different drafts, the Artist will impose a small charge of up to 10% of the Category Base Price.
- Asking for minor changes to the artwork exceeding the eligible amount of small changes available in a commission after completion (2) may result in surcharges.
- The surcharge above is based on 5% to 20% of the Category Base Price, depending on the magnitude of the change(s).
- If the Client asks the Artist to make significant changes to the commissioned artwork after the artwork is completed, the Artist holds the right to charge the Client from a minimum of 15% of the Category Base Price to a maximum of 40% of the Category Base Price. The extra charge depends on the magnitude of the change(s) per significant change.Refunds:
- No refunds.Required Client Information, Files,
and Details:
- The Client's alias to create a Client Username in the Artist's client database.
- The Client's e-mail address for the Artist to deliver the final artwork(s) of the commission to the client, for the Artist to communicate with the Client (required), and to sign up for promotional email updates (optional).
- The Client must provide at least two forms of communication via social media or messaging platforms so that the Artist can communicate with the Client regarding the commission.
- Reference images and descriptions of the desired artwork are required from the client.Workflow:
- The Artist will update the client once any substantial progress is made.
- After the initial payment is made, the Artist will proceed to pitch 1 to 4 drafts, and the client will have to choose from them.
- After a draft is chosen, the Artist will proceed to draw a rough sketch of the client's commission.
- After the rough sketch is done, the client can correct the Artist on any missed or incorrect details.
- After the rough sketch is approved, the client won't be able to view the full commission until it's done. The Artist will send only snippets upon request (free of charge) or when the Artist has things to confirm unless the client decides to pay the rest of the payment.
- Upon completion of the commission and after the full payment, the final artwork is eligible for two minor changes only. As the extra fees section states, significant and insignificant changes may require additional fees.
- Clients that made total payment upfront can make minor changes throughout the Artist's drawing process.Deadlines:
- The duration for the artwork to be completed depends on the complexity of the commissioned art
- The client must inform the Artist of any existing deadline so that the Artist can plan according to their schedule.
- If the deadline proposed by the client conflicts with the Artist's schedule, the Artist reserves the right to decline the commission request.
- If the Artist does accept to work under the condition of a rushed deadline, the Artist will charge an additional fee of 40% of the commission's price before any discount application. This additional fee cannot be changed under any circumstances. Hence it can't be affected by any discounts.
- If the Artist fails to deliver the commission within the deadline, the Artist will contact the client beforehand to discuss a solution.What the Client Will Get:
- Digital Illustration(s) of the commissioned artwork. (No physical copy)
- Full-resolution PNG file(s) of the commissioned artwork, with the Artist's watermark.
- Smaller resolution PNG file(s) of the commissioned artwork, with a more prominent artist's watermark for social media posting purposes.
- Other file formats of the commissioned artwork can be asked for, except for the original working file.Disclaimers:
- The services provided by the Artist are for "non-commercial, personal use only". For commercial use artwork, the pricing will be adjusted via the multiplication method for the Client to acquire the final artwork for commercial use.
- Commission prices are calculated via Category Base Price + Complexity Level Price. (Example: Category Base Price $20 + Complexity Level Price $5)
- Discounts will only apply to the Category Base Price of the commission.
- Multiple discounts will be applied one after another, with the sequence of Category Discount, Payment Method Discount, Code Discount, then Other Discounts.
- The client is advised to upload the prominently watermarked artwork with the lowered resolution, with credits to the Artist to protect the artwork commissioned by the Client.
- The Client may display the commission in profiles as long as the Artist's name ("Alceous" or "Alceous Yap") is prominently displayed (required) along with a link to the Artist's social media account(s) (optional).
- The Client must not use the "non-commercial, personal use only" commissioned artwork commercially, or the Artist will retract the client's rights attached to the commissioned artwork.
- The Artist reserves the right to stop the work on a commission or cancel a commission request due to poor communication, rude behavior, inappropriate behavior, an inability to communicate with the Artist effectively, or upon a breach of the Terms of Service.
- The Artist reserves the right to refuse any commission request without explaining the reason.
- The Artist can post them online to their galleries and use them for publicity unless stated otherwise by the Client.
- The Artist can live stream the commission unless stated otherwise by the Client.
- The Client has the right to use the final digital image of the "non-commercial, personal use only" artwork for personal use. (Such as printing it for themselves)
- The client may not make prints of merchandise from the Artist's "non-commercial, personal use only" work for sale or resell the original digital image to third parties.
- Under no circumstances may the client submit a commission to any online or offline contest.
- The client is not permitted to have any misuse of the Artist's name or misuse of the commission, which would discredit their reputation as an artist and violate the commission's spirit.
- The Artist reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice. If any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on this website immediately. Please check the latest information posted herein to inform yourself of any changes.
